Technical Marketing Engineer (m/f) GNSS Positioning

Goal

Increase the manpower of the automotive marketing team for EMEA.

Company

Is one of the market leaders in automotive global positioning chipsets and automotive infotainment silicon solutions and software.

Main Tasks


  • To provide customers and Sales organizations with pre sales technical support, for all existing and future GNSS Positioning & Infotainment products and applications

  • To provide customers with technical marketing support focusing on all GNSS Positioning products and applications as a decisive contribution to increase market share.

  • To provide customers, third-parties, partners, with technical product and application support, with expertise on products, tools, and field testing for successful project development and billing materialization.

  • To drive the demand creation and New Billing Generation process (promotion, market communication, project identification, Design-In and -Win activities until start of production).

  • To elaborate promotional and training material for customers (tier-ones, -two, car makers, third-parties), Sales, FAE, distributors organizations, and provide guidance on strategy deployment and right product selection.

  • To constantly analyze market trends and customer needs, features and IPs' necessary and to drive Product Divisions in defining proposals for new product developments

Requirements


  • Required education level: University/ Fachhochschule with degree in Electronics / Electrotechnics

  • 2 to 8 to years of work experience ideally in GPS or Gallileo or similar global positioning system environment 

  • Strong GPS Market and Application Knowledge

  • Initiative and Innovation

  • Team Work/ Cooperation

  • Working in an intercultural environment

  • Adaptability, Flexibility

  • Driving license B and willingness to travel
